PANA Flat Top Drill Bit is known for it's simplicity to cut, shorten, backfill and shape the nail. However, be careful of the cuticles, as the sharp edges may cut into the client's skin. The drill bit has two barrel size options to help tackle surface areas, such as large barrels for larger areas, and small barrels for smaller areas. It should also be noted that this Flat Top Drill Bit fits 1/8" shanks only. PANA Flat Top Drill Bits has three different color variations such as silver, and gold.

A superior nail drill bit
This tungsten carbide XC round top nail file drill bit is well made. The bit comes in it's own protective case and is marked XC on the top of the bit as well as a color coded rubber grommet to help visually identify it coarseness rating. I've add a comparison image to show the difference between the XC flat top and the XC round top. I see this bit lasting for many years without needing to be replaced so I'm well please with this product.

great for gel x!
Use this 2X Coarse drill bit sparingly! Even at the lower settings on my drill, this bit mows through gel (may take a bit longer on acrylic, but I can't imagine it would change too much) and allows me to quickly level out nails that may have bubbled up too much or form a rough shape which I can then refine with a more fine bit. It is very sturdy and seems to fit into most standard nail drills, although you may want to hold it when locking it into drills with deep chucks to give a small gap between the head of the drill and the top of the chuck).

great for beginners
I'd like to consider myself pretty good at doing my own nails, since starting them about 5 years ago. This bit is a good one for taking off builder gel, or even acrylics if that's what you have on. I wouldn't necessarily say it's great for beginners, because any of these bits could do damage to your nails/skin if you're not careful, or you're not used to using them. The tungsten/carbide and the texture of the bit makes removal go very quickly, due to its course texture. This bit probably has too much texture for removing only gel polish, unless you have a structured base underneath. It works very well for me, but I consistently have a structured gel base in order to keep my nails strong, and I never remove the base, I only fill it. Taking off the top layer of gel is a breeze with this bit!

Flawless
I've been doing nails for over 20yrs and this cuts time in half, smooth nails every time. Worked better than expected. Will purchase again as needed. Great bits. Cuts my time down when soaking off my dip powder.
