1/8" Smooth Top Large Barrel Gold Carbide Bit
The smooth top carbide drill bits are rounded at the top with straight barrels to protect the cuticles and side walls from scratches and cuts upon contact. This carbide drill bit only fits 1/8" shanks for the nail tech's surface coverage preference. The smooth top drill bits also comes in 8 different grit sizes (ranging from extra fine to 4x extra coarse) and 2 different colors (gold and silver). Best for nail techs who are working on artificial nails, the drill bit has many uses: from shaping, carving, smoothing, backfilling, and removing gel.

Great bit, cuts through acrylic super fast
Great bit, cuts through acrylic super fast. It is truly a safety bit so the barrel (part with the teeth) part of it can (lightly) touch your skin and won't cut it, I tested it. Be careful not to touch your natural nail with it AT ALL, not even at a really low speed. I accidentally cut too deep through my acrylic and just barely touched my natural nail and it left a deep gash so if you're just starting out and don't know what you're doing probably don't go for something this coarse. Hope the pics help, but I'd used it a few times before I took these so the teeth are slightly duller than brand new

ha! beats the heck out of whimpy medium coarseness bits
It has the protective dome, so can get close to cuticle. I turn the speed down a bit, keep with a light touch and am done in half the time. I watched tons of you tube videos and they all said they never went past medium coarse bits to file down product. Well, I'm too new at poly gel to get it thin enough, and using a medium coarseness took forever. Medium does work okay when trying to get polish off, but not as well on polygel. I use this to file down poly gel. ey is to turn the efile speed down, especially when using your none dominat hand.

Strong, Safe Bit
Nice, strong bit for removing and shaping acrylic nails. I really like the domed top, add it helps prevent accidentally cutting cuticles. Will buy again when I need a replacement.

Perfect for beginners
I'm just starting to do my own nails and this was perfect for the drill I used
