The smooth top carbide drill bits are rounded at the top with straight barrels to protect the cuticles and side walls from scratches and cuts upon contact. This carbide drill bit only fits 1/8" shanks for the nail tech's surface coverage preference. The smooth top drill bits also comes in 8 different grit sizes (ranging from extra fine to 4x extra coarse) and 2 different colors (gold and silver). Best for nail techs who are working on artificial nails, the drill bit has many uses: from shaping, carving, smoothing, backfilling, and removing gel.

Amazing !!
This nail drill bit is amazing ! It takes arcylic, nail polish, and nail charms off with minimal effort. This bit is also great at smoothing out any buildup or thick product on the nails. This is definitely becomming a favorite bit of mine. As for safety, there was no burning or nipping of my cuticles.

Works well
Helpful with removing a lot of product when your trying to get off dip nails. Others have said it's not for at home nails techs, but I disagree. It you have an e-file this tip is a very good edition to your collection. This tip has a rounded end as well so that does help you about hitting your cuticle.
