The Ball Shaped Carbide Bits are commonly used to clean and prep the cuticles and the surrounding nail walls before a manicure or acrylic nail process. The Ball Shaped Carbide Bit is offered in one grit size and two bit sizes (large and small) for the nail tech's preference in size. Use the ball bit to exfoliate and remove the hard and rough dead skin that surrounds the cuticles and nail walls to give the client softer cuticles.

Great heads just be careful!
I'm by no means a nail pro, I've jus been teaching myself to do my own nails over the last year. DO NOT run your drill too fast, though--the first time I was using these I had it set way too high. The cat knocked something over, I jumped, and drilled a patch through straight to my nailbed--OUCH. I can't take a star off for it though because it was totally user-error, not the fault of the product one bit. Start slow, not fast, until you get comfortable with them--for fine-bits, they're really effective.

Must have for polishing
Using this on the skin surrounding the nails with a little cuticle oil really takes a manicure to it’s full potential. This really cleans things up and is pain free and beginner friendly.

Easy to use!
I got to use some of the drill bits, you can use them with most drills. They fit most of them, I got to remove an existing gel polish with ease and then file the edges agains the cuticle area. The last was to file my whole nail for my final finish. This an amazing drill set.
