Product Description
3/32" Flame Shaped Gold Carbide Bit
The flame shaped carbide drill bits are similar to our large cone bit drill bits with a rounded tip at the top of the football shape barrel to help reach the problem areas that need to be smoothed out as quick as possible that is under the nail as well as closer to the cuticles and sidewalls. This carbide drill bit only fits 3/32" shanks, however, rounded side barrels size is perfect for detailed coverage. The rounded head is safe to use on cuticles and nail walls. The difference between the flame shaped drill bit and the large cone shape drill bit are the cuts of the grits. The flame shaped drill bit has a flatter, but deeper cut to ensure there is no clogging and will give a smoother finish than the cone bit. The flame shaped carbide drill bits come in 5 different sizes (ranging from extra fine to extra coarse) and 3 different colors (gold, DLC black and silver). Best for nail techs who are working on artificial nails, the drill bit has many uses: from smoothing, removing gel to cleaning hard to reach areas, such as under the nail.

Get this bit
Can we just take a moment to marvel at how beautiful these are. I can’t stop looking at them they are even more beautiful in person. First impression, packaging and feel of the actual bits is wow so glad I decided to go with these. They are on the coarse side. I got them mostly for removal of gel and I definitely would not recommend for direct use on natural nail bed.

Coarse bit!
I was worried about buying the course bit for something that was meant to grind but I was careful. Worked perfectly for me. DO NOT USE ON THE NATURAL NAIL. I bought this to remove acrylic from my nails. Even still, I remove down to a medium layer and use acetone and cotton pads with a clamp to remove the rest. A regular sanding e-file bit will remove gel polish from the natural nail or if you're trying to remove gel from an acrylic set without taking down any thickness from the acrylic.

Great Buy!
I got this tapered looking drill and it is amazing. I saw some people use this style bit so I had to try it out. I don't even have a fancy drill or anything and it fits. It also doesn't really hurt if you accidentally go over your skin so thats a bonus for learners!
