3/32" Smooth Top Large Barrel Gold Carbide Bit
The smooth top carbide drill bits are rounded at the top with straight barrels to protect the cuticles and side walls from scratches and cuts upon contact. This carbide drill bit only fits 3/32" shanks, however, it comes in two barrel sizes (small and large) for the nail tech's surface coverage preference. The smooth top drill bits also comes in 9 different grit sizes (ranging from extra fine to 5x extra coarse) and 3 different colors (gold, DLC black and silver). Best for nail techs who are working on artificial nails, the drill bit has many uses: from shaping, carving, smoothing, backfilling, and removing gel.

Reviewing Coarse and fine bits
I was worried that I may not have gotten a coarse enough file or that the fine would have worked by itself. I'm glad I bought both coarse and fine, because the coarse cuts through product, and the fine helps smooth it over and remove any residual product. Both cut through product, but the coarse helped me do it a little faster. I was able to run both on the lowest speed on my efile and take off gel polish from acrylic nails quickly. Because its fast, my nails didnt heat up at all. I am new at this, so I'm glad I got a safety bit; they are sharp!
