Sanding bands are one of the most common tools amongst nail technicians due to their inexpensive prices and versatility. Unlike carbide and ceramic-coated nail drill bits, one aspect of the sanding band versatility includes the fact that it may be used on the natural nail bed without damaging the nail. The sanding band is an equivalent to emery board nail files with the quality of grit sizes available, as the only difference is that emery board nail files are manual and sanding bands require an electronic nail drill and a mandrel drill bit.

Quality is great for price. Love them for prepping the natural nail. These last me a long time.

Worked better than other brands
I used these to remove the top layers of dip powder to speed up soaking them off. Used the 80 to take of top layer and then 120 to go closer to my natural nails. Only took 5 minutes per hand to remove the remaining dip. Used the 180 to lightly buff top of nails before doping again. Also used the 180 to buff and smooth out the final dip when reapplying and before top coat. Made the process go much faster when dipping from home.

Very versatile
I use these with my Professional Rechargeable Electric Nail Drill Machine for Acrylic Nails, Gel Nails Polish, 35000RPM Electric Nail Art File Drill Efile Nail Drill Manicure Pedicure Kit, Nail Salon Supplies. I use the course to buffer the callus and to grind the dog nails. I use the fine and medium to smooth my hands and feet after a medi/pedi and to buff my nail bed. I've been using this combination for years and it works great for me a regular homemaker.

Gentle and Effective !
I absolutely love these sanding bands. They’re so gentle and easy to use! I use these to remove excess cuticle, take off the shine from the nail as well as I use my e-file at a slightly higher speed to remove the top coat from gel polish. This works perfect for me.
