Nail Tip Stick Refills

These are great. I bought a set of these elsewhere and thought they were great. One set didn't end up being enough so I ordered these on Amazon because of the MUCH faster shipping and similar price. This set came with 150 swatch sticks, 3 rings to hold them on, and 3 long, thin, nut-and-bolt style holders. One of my nuts came without a bolt which is fine because I personally don't like using these. The rings can hold one set of 50 swatch sticks each. I've tried clear swatch sticks and these natural colored ones. While both have their own pros and cons, I prefer these natural ones for a few reasons. 1. They do not fog up or warp with regular nail polish like the clear ones do (I use the clear ones for gel polish only). 2. I think they more accurately show what a polish color will look like on my nails. The difference isn't large but one color can look different on a clear swatch stick vs one of these opaque swatch sticks. 3. They don't need as many coats to be opaque as the clear ones. With the clear ones, if any light is shining through them, they look patchy. As light doesn't shine through our fingers, this isn't a problem on our nails. So these natural colored nail swatches give a better idea of how many coats each polish will actually take. 4. They're more flexible and less jagged on the edge of nails. The clear ones are made of a different, harder plastic and they are often jagged and rough on the edges of the nails. That's not a big deal or anything but I do prefer these natural ones because they're smooth on the edges. Overall, these are great. They're affordable too, which I love. I use them all the time to test out nail designs. I'd recommend these to anyone who wants a convenient way to display all of their nail polish colors in one place. It makes picking colors SO EASY.

If you collect nail polish at all, swatch sticks are a necessity! Colors can look so much different in the bottle than they do on the nail... Swatch sticks make it easy to choose a shade to use, and they also make it easy to keep track of what you have in your collection. The swatch sticks from Beauticom are perfectly clear, with minimal imperfections that need to be filed away. They are packaged nicely, and they come with a ring for storage. I will most definitely purchase these again as my collection grows.

Perfect for swatching my gel collection! As another reviewer mentions, these are a nice, thick plastic and don't feel flimsy to me at all. I roughed up the smooth "nail" surface with a buffing block before swatching and had no issues. They were packaged in 3 bags of 50 swatch sticks, with each bag containing both a split ring and a screw. I labeled each of my swatch sticks using 9 mm label tape.

Such a great product to have and I loved how fast they came! I have been building up my gel polish collection and this helps me keep track of the colors since you can't see the color without opening the polish to see what the color is...
