Great quality - right kind of clipper for toenails
Most people forget cutting toenails properly can greatly reduce the chance of ingrown toenails. You have to use the straight edge clipper. You cannot cut toe nails in a rounded (half moon) fashion

cuts thick nails
I love it. It's sharp and cuts thick nails. It's also straight across and doesn't cause curve cuts before the nail curves. Also, my nails curve down on the sides and I can cut them more easily with this cutter.

Seem very solid. Time will tell.
Great weight and balance. Between fading eyesight, arthritis, and a grip that's not always as steady as it used to be, a broad surface to squeeze against helps me to control this generously sized lever. Not like the tiny things with the point on them, like you find in a big-box joint. Very sharp; I'll be interested in seeing how long these edges hold their cutting abilities. I chose the straight ones, and I am thinking of also ordering the set with the curved blades, perhaps to better work around some of my more experienced corners.
